Other Information Just been going through some old photos and I have found some of Elizabeth Gingell (Rollason) b. 1887 taken at my Grandma's home Mary Gingell (Smith) b. 1884 also on the photo is Fanny Ellis (Mulligan) b. 1874. Three sisters and daughters of Enos Gingell and Mary Ann Gingell (nee Mary Ellis). On the photo is a young girl who I believe to be the grand daughter of Elizabeth. She was also known as Lizzie. I have a single photo of Fanny Mulligan when she was quite an old lady cutting a birthday cake. I notice that Elizabeth (Lizzie) had 3 children Irene, Leonard and Frank all born in Aston. If there are are any descendants of Lizzie they may like to view these photos. I think they would be taken in the late 1950s. Lizzie with her granddaughter were visiting my Grandma who lived at Woodlands, near Doncaster. Fanny had already moved from Birmingham area to live with my Grandma after they had both been widowed.
I always knew Fanny as my Great Aunt, sister of my grandma Mary Ellis. They were in fact cousins, but had been brought up as sisters. Fanny married Thomas Mulligan in Jan/Feb/Mar 1903 at Aston, Birmingham. He died in 1948 in Lichfield, Staffs and it was after this about 1950 that Fanny Mulligan moved to Doncaster and lived with my grandma Mary Ann at 30 The Crescent, Woodlands, Doncaster. My grandma died in 1964 and Fanny in March 1965. Fanny is buried in a cemetery at Adwick le Street near Doncaster.
