Other Information Arthur and his two sons Derek and later Peter worked from Brightwell Cresent in Tooting, London. They did motor and commercial vehicle repairs and also haulage. This was in the early sixties and came after the scooter shop. The property was owned by a Mr Carpenter who ran a removal business from another part of the premises that fronted Bickersteth Road. (both yards are joined but in an L shape and so they front different roads). Derek took over running the removals when Mr Carpenter retired. Arthur died in 1971, Peter moved his haulage business to another site, and Derek changed over from removals to car repairs in 1979. Derek retired this year (sort of...) and so now Anthony and Stephen are in charge.
